We decided to drive to Boulder City just outside Vegas today instead of staying another day at Grand Canyon, don't get me wrong the canyon is mind blowing but there are only so many views you can look at it and with Elle and Morgan we thought it better to move on.
First we visited The Hoover Dam, 5000 men built in 5 years in the 30's. Amazing. We then went on to have lunch and swam in Lake Mead which was created as a result of the dam.
After, we got into the car and saw the temperature was 117f (47.2C) , we were told it is usually 125f !!!!!
Off to Vegas tomorrow for a couple of days :-)

How cool is the Grand Canyon?! We loved the "DON'T use the Aircon" signs on the drive to Vegas!
